Mid-Africa Ministry, founded in 1921, formerly known as Ruanda
Mission, is a Christian mission working in partnership with the
Anglican church in Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic
of Congo. Together we proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ, through medical
work, Bible teaching and a variety of development projects. Opportunities
available: Physiotherapist for Rwanda Occupational Therapist for
Rwanda Nurse/Midwife (several) for Uganda
Conditions of service
In a volunteer capacity, must be able to offer 1 year and meet
financial costs. As a professional partner should be able to offer
between 2 and 3 years: sharing of financial costs with MAM. Long
term mission partners, with cross cultural/Bible College training.
For work in Rwanda, Burundi, DRC need to know some French, or be
willing to learn the local language.
