Description
  We are one of several NHS organisations, which provide mental health and learning disability services in West Yorkshire.

Our core purpose is to improve the mental health and well being of the people of Leeds and to provide them with effective, accessible and modern mental health and learning disability services.

The Trust provides services to over 725,000 people within the metropolitan boundaries of Leeds.

In 2003/4, we employed over 2,000 staff, of which three out of four provided direct patient care. Every day around 1,500 people use our services. They are delivered from more than 50 sites, including four major hospitals

* Becklin Centre
* Newsam Centre
* The Mount
* St Mary's Hospital

The clinical management of our Trust is divided into five areas. An associate director and associate medical director head each area.

These areas are:

* Learning disability
* Working age adults
* Older peoples services
* Citywide services
* Addictions

We support clinical services with a number of corporate functions. These include:

* Finance
* Human Resources
* Nursing
* Information, Planning and Performance
