London South Bank aims to provide courses, which equip students for future employment. It is committed to maintaining close links with industry and the local community. Many courses allow students the opportunity to study other languages, have a management or marketing bias and provide computer and information technology training. Most academic staff have relevant commercial, industrial or public sector experience.
Situated close to Waterloo and London Bridge stations, London South Bank is at the hub of local transport only minutes away from the professional, social and cultural facilities of central London. The National Theatre and Arts complex on the South Bank of the Thames is ten minutes walk from the main campus. The City of London lies just over the river with the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and the Tate Gallery close by.
