Your day-to-day
- Liaising with clinical staff from Luton and Bedfordshire Mental health NHS Trust.
- Assessing and screening referrals from mental health wards for Supported living placement.
- Line managing and supervising junior staff.
- Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments & observations.
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, & improve quality of care.
- Attend all training, meetings as required.
- Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & reviewed regularly, collaboratively with service users, families & other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring medication is managed in accordance with NICE guidelines.
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
