Trosolwg o'r swydd

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Clinical Research Nurse with a special interest in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team within the NIHR Imperial Clinical Research Facility (ICRF) at Hammersmith Hospital.

The ICRF is located at the heart of one of the UK’s most research-intensive universities, Imperial College London. It provides a dedicated, well-equipped, and professional environment that brings together clinicians and scientists to explore disease mechanisms and trial innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment.

We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and knowledgeable nurse who thrives in a team environment. A background in clinical research would be highly advantageous.

Although this post is part of the ICRF team, the successful candidate will work closely with both internal and external PAH research teams in a largely autonomous role.

Responsibilities will include a mix of clinical duties, data entry, and project coordination. The role also involves seeing participants in outpatient clinics, obtaining consent, performing venepuncture, and undertaking laboratory sample processing.

As we host a variety of complex and demanding studies, flexibility and adaptability are key.  The post holder will also support studies from other specialities in ICRF and is expected to do shift work.

The ICRF operates a shift pattern that includes early, late, and night shifts with weekends off.
