An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join the Specialist Perinatal Community Mental Health Team based in Solihull. The Service operates Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm.
The team provides a specialist perinatal mental health service for women living in the Solihull area. The team offer support to women experiencing moderate to severe mental illness during the perinatal period (through pregnancy and up to 24 months post natal).
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The successful applicant will support mothers with perinatal mental health problems to care for their babies, ensure that the emotional and physical needs of the babies are met, and engage in activities to promote the mother-infant relationship. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering care to women in a range of community settings. The ability to work flexibly in multidisciplinary teams and in a range of settings is therefore essential.
Applicants must be highly motivated, with some experience in mental health care. Experience of working within perinatal mental health is not a requirement as specialist training will be provided.
