A4 is a 35 bedded surgical ward specialising in colorectal and general surgery. A4 is busy and care provision can be demanding but it also offers a wide scope of learning opportunities. Within the ward footprint, our team also looks after patients requiring enhanced care within our Intermediate Surgical Care Unit (ISCU), where RN/patient ratios are adjusted to take into account patient needs. We bridge the gap between standard ward care and level 2/3 care.
We are looking to appoint dynamic Deputy Charge Nurses / Sisters to lead our well established team and support the Ward Manager in the provision of outstanding care to the patients under our direct and indirect care. We are recruiting for 2 positions (1 on a permanent basis and 1 on a secondment basis for 1 year to cover maternity leave).
Is this the right challenge for you?
