We are recruiting Nurses/ODP to join our exceptional theatre team.
The Short Stay Surgery Unit ground floor Theatres cares for patients requiring Gynae, Ophthalmology, GI, Urology, and Robotic Surgery
Recovery Practitioners are experts in post anaesthetic care, delivering specialised care to patients. They have a depth of knowledge related to pain and airway management and transition those patients from the acute theatre setting to the ward or escalate to critical care.
Our team are renowned as highly skilled and a vital part of the wider Perioperative Care Directorate. Through joining us you will be offered unrivalled training and professional support within a hardworking and dedicated environment. Successful integration in to the team will provide you with an opportunity to make an unparalleled impact on the lives of our patients as we deliver the post-covid recovery plans for surgery in a Covid safe surgical setting.

You will develop to be a true team player who specialises in being equally pro-active, organised and able to react to the ever changing and fast paced environment within surgery. In addition, you will benefit from:
Integration in to the wider Operating Theatre Department and Perioperative Care Directorate which includes over 40 operating theatres. Your job role will provide an opportunity to train and work across all specialities including Ophthalmology, ENT, Gynae, Urology and General Surgery.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
