Paediatric Respiratory Nurse Specialist

Job overview

The Band 6 Paediatric specialist nurse’s role requires a passionate, highly motivated and experienced Nurse with excellent communication skills, who considers themselves first and always the child’s advocate, someone who wishes to continue to develop their clinical and leadership skills, delivering high quality care to our children and young people and their families.  We are excited at the prospect of supporting motivated individuals to help lead, develop and influence our growing services.

Main duties of the job

Experience in facilitation of quality improvements in the provision of Paediatric Respiratory Care. Ability to plan, organise, manage and deliver agreed respiratory care initiatives across the Warrington and Halton sites and community setting

Ability to work collaboratively to promote and improve the standards of Paediatric respiratory care across the locality.

Have a knowledge and understanding of BTS/Sign guidelines. Up to date clinical skills. Presentation skills. Knowledge of the National Asthma Care Bundle
