Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for; 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for passionate and motivated registered nurses to join the existing team on ward 16, diabetes and general medicine, under the leadership of a new inspirational Senior Sister.

If you are an experienced Registered Nurse with an interest in, or wanting to develop your knowledge and expertise in diabetes care and management then this is the post for you.

On Ward 16 you will be working within a passionate, motivated, enthusiastic and very well supported nursing team. You will experience general medicine and the diabetes speciality all within one ward, offering you a unique opportunity. The ward is currently going through a period of change with a new leadership team who are looking at innovative ways to make ward 16 the very best ward in providing exceptional, outstanding evidence based care to all of their patients.

Supported by a proactive senior team who are passionate about this patient group, they promote the nursing staff to take all opportunities to develop and nurture specific interests and be encouraged to undertake time out from the ward environment to explore and increase your own knowledge around areas of nursing and medicine you are passionate about.
