Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for;

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the IT Clinical Facilitator team at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking to promote the nationally recognised career pathway for Registered Professionals to work within Information Technology, and therefore we are increasing our team of clinical staff who support in the delivery and digital transformation of our services.

As a Clinical Facilitator, you will be an advocate for all clinical staff working within the Trust, in supporting their use of technology and adoption of new digital advances, ultimately to enhance patient experience and quality of care.

You will be instrumental in contributing to the delivery of the Trusts Digital Strategy and Paperlight Programme.

You must be able to engage and motivate others, with excellent communication skills. Prior experience of teaching or mentoring is desirable, and experience of change management would be beneficial in this role.

We require a Registered Nurse or Midwife, with a keen interest in technology within clinical practice, who can demonstrate the benefits this can provide clinical colleagues.

Some shift work is expected in line with the needs of the service, such as supporting new system deployments.
