Job overview

The Moor to Sea Admin Team is looking for a Band 2 Admin Support worker for 16 hours - (2 days) per week. 

This role primarily will be providing support at Dartmouth over 3 weeks a month, with 1 week at Totnes.  Therefore, the successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, working on a rota basis covering the services over a 7-day,  8am – 5.30pm working week, including BH’s.  Car driver/owner essential. 

We require someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and can multitask.  A sympathetic and confident telephone manner is essential.  The ideal candidate needs to be a good communicator, well organised, able to work under pressure as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.

To be responsible for and to provide a high-quality reception and administrative service to the Moor to Sea Community Team.

Working as part of an integrated team within Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.

To be responsible for a high quality customer service function, both face to face, via telephone and in recording contact information, supporting prioritisation of contacts, subsequent feedback and on-going liaison with referrers and relevant others

To monitor and maintain IT based information systems

 To support Team Leader to undertake change management.

 To support with audit and accurately record for quality assurance

Essential criteria
  • GCSE in maths and English or equivalent
  • Level 3 NVQ Business or evidence of working towards / willingness to undertake to achieve B3 status.
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of Healthcare systems such as IHCS and systmone.
