We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Nurse to join our research team covering cancer studies. Experience in oncology nursing is highly desirable. The post holder will also support the expansion of the research portfolio alongside other research staff.

The Research and Innovation Department has grown rapidly in recent years, and is committed to extending research to a wider patient population. The scope of work is dynamic and variable, and provides a challenging and stimulating environment in which to develop both professionally and personally.

The post holder will be supported by the research team, but it is anticipated that he/she will be an independent practitioner. Previous research involvement is desirable but not essential as the Research and Innovation Department have a comprehensive training programme.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to network effectively are essential. A core aspect of the role is to support and train clinical staff involved in research projects and to actively promote research within the Trust.
