With a budget of around £365m, three hospitals and 5,500 staff, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides hospital-based services to the population of Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and parts of East Durham and Sedgefield as well as community, therapeutic and screening to a wider population across Durham and Teesside.

To support the preterm birth specialist team in the Women's Health Clinic and Antenatal Day Assessment Unit setting - including phlebotomy, chaperoning, use of point of care testing and routine observations.

Accurately record data and collate data required to support the monitoring and evaluation of the Preterm Birth Service.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

Support the development of the service by sharing ideas, participant feedback, reviewing processes and updating participant information resources.


Share knowledge and experience with the wider team to encourage best practice.


Be available for evening/weekend work if requested

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health care
  • GSCE( A-C) English and Maths, or equivalent qualification
  • Understanding of the role and own professional boundaries
  • Commit to undertake in-house training

  • One year’s formal maternity care experience in a hospital/birth centre
  • Experience of working in an acute hospital setting
  • Knowledge of Preterm Birth agenda
