This permanent position provides an opportunity for an experienced nurse to address the challenges of acute inpatient diabetes care.
The Diabetes Nurse Specialist (DNS) will promote consistent care for people within a multidisciplinary team. Responsible for the provision of high quality diabetes nursing care and management of in patients, and the provision of education to healthcare professionals involved with their care.
If you are a DNS or an experienced nurse with discharge planning and management experience plus an interest in diabetes nursing, and presently at Band 5 or 6 level, this post could be for you.
Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.
Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions)
