An exciting opportunity to join a brand new service to Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust- The Brighton and Hove Overnight Nursing Service, covering Urgent Community Nursing Care for Brighton and Hove with cover to the High weald, Lewes and Havens area between 8-10pm. We are offering an opportunity to work two to four nights/week (22-37.5hrs).
Main duties of the job
Providing Urgent care to patients requiring care in the Community, including care of End of Life patients, those with catheter related problems & any other Urgent care needs.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced, confident, professional with some experience within the Community & the necessary skills in managing the complex clinical needs of our patients IE: End of Life support and symptom management, chronic disease management & avoiding admission to the Acute hospitals within our area.

- Holds valid UK driving licence and are comfortable driving at night.

- Minimum 3 years post registration experience.
- Evidence of independent working & clinical decision making
- Community nursing experience in the UK
- Confidence liaising with members of other professions to develop a plan for safe community care.
- Wide experience of managing complex nursing care to include end of life care, catheterisation, urgent wound care, complex assessments.,
