The Resuscitation Service Department (RSD) is responsible for delivery of a comprehensive, high quality resuscitation service across the BSUH, including training, education, simulation, policy development, equipment standardisation, clinical audit and attending clinical emergencies.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic healthcare professional with an interest and experience in resuscitation training and practice to join our busy Resuscitation Services Department. (RSD)
The post will suit a dynamic and energetic individual able to work as part of a team. You will have ALS, EPLS, NLS or APLS provider status, ideally with instructor status in at least one. You will have teaching and training experience and demonstrate excellent clinical skills in resuscitation. You will have an acute, critical care, theatre or pre-hospital background.
The successful candidate will join an established multi-professional team and will be based across both the Royal Sussex County Hospital and the Princess Royal Hospital sites, with rotation between both as service needs dictate. There will also a degree of offsite / community based training activity as part of our income generation activities and our resuscitation service to our partner organisations.
Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.
Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions)
