Clinical Support Worker

Band 3

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a developing Assessment Unit opening up in the Queens Centre. This unit will be supporting patients with Oncology and Haematology conditions that are undergoing current treatment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will be responsible for assisting the Nurse Practitioner team in caring for patients in the assessment area.  Experience of working in a specialty with cancer related procedures plus a mature attitude are desirable as is a minimum of two years’ experience of working with patients in a health care environment. The post-holder will be required to work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team that will be involved in the care of patients in assessment unit.

As this is a developing service we require the post holder to have excellent communication skills, an ability to prioritise workload and have flexibly in their working hours 

The post is 30 hours per week, The work pattern will initially be variable between the hours of 10am and 8pm Mon to Fri.
