We are recruiting for a Nursing Associate who wishes to join  #TeamIOWNHS our Children's Ward. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards “great people, great place”.

We are looking for a hard working enthusiastic individual, who works well in a team and is able to carry out excellent standards of patient care. 

As a nurse associate you will have responsibilities on shift to care for 3-4 patients at a time under the direction of the nurse in charge. you will also carry out training to be able to work in the ward blood clinic as well as get involved in pre operative assessment of children. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide and monitor safe, person-centred care to designated patients, this will include caring for children and young people, carrying out medication administration, infection control, safeguarding  and personal care.
