An exciting opportunity has arisen for staff nurses to join our Gynaecology nursing team on Ward F1 /GAU, The Royal Oldham Hospital.

 

As the only inpatient ward across the Trust for gynaecology services we support the admission of elective and non-elective patients from all our hospital sites.

We are looking for highly motivated, innovative and flexible nurses with a caring nature, keen interest in gynaecology and a commitment to providing high quality patient care.

It is important that you are able to work within a team providing the best care, the best environment and best patient’s experience whilst delivering the Trust Quality Improvement Strategy.

The Trust supports individuals through the development of their clinical practice and provides a robust preceptorship package.

These posts will support development/enhancement of acute surgical skills, management of pregnancy related problems, gynaecology assessment and management of both elective and non- elective women who are experiencing gynaecological problems.

Previous experience although desirable is not essential however a genuine interest in women’s health issues is required.

You will work on both the Ward and GAU and will be expected to participate in the care and treatment of women undergoing termination of pregnancy.
