The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust includes the Royal Free Hospital, Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, Edgware community hospital and other associated services is a high performing Trust with some of the best clinical outcomes in the country.
The pain management service works across both the inpatient and outpatient services looking after patients with acute and chronic pain. Our inpatient services are based at the Royal Free, Barnet and Chase farm Hospital sites. Our outpatient services are primarily based at Edgware Community Hospital.

The Royal Free provides many specialist and world renowned services such as liver and renal transplantation, immunology, infectious diseases and many aspects of surgery and is a hub for both vascular and plastics services. In partnership with University College London (UCL) we are part of ground-breaking research as well as major teaching and training centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced specialist nurse or specialist practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for someone who:

• Has broad and extensive experience of working with both acute and chronic pain patients within both the inpatient and outpatient setting

• Enjoys working as part of a large multi-disciplinary team but also has the ability to work autonomously

• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Can provide evidence of a strong interest in education and training

• Is willing and able to travel between sites

 

You will be well supported by a multi-disciplinary team that consists of specialist nurses, acute pain consultants, chronic pain consultants, psychologists and physiotherapists.
