Job overview
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and forward thinking senior link worker to join West London NHS Trust’s community team. The team has had a planned expansion and development into the three boroughs it serves, Hounslow, Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham. We require a dynamic and hardworking senior link worker to support the delivery of the rehabilitation pathway for referred service users to achieve their recovery goals, improve function and live the best life possible.
The Ealing rehabilitation team works with adults of working age with severe and enduring mental illness to help maximise independent functioning and actively promote recovery and social inclusion through the use of evidence based and person centred interventions.
With the team expansion, this will be a perfect opportunity for the successful applicant to contribute, make a difference and shape community link work in the Ealing rehabilitation service, to make it more flexible, responsive and accessible. This role will offer you a chance not only develop your clinical skills but also give you opportunity to contribute to service development.
Main duties of the job
Opportunities exist to co-work with other professions including occupational therapies, and you will work closely with the wider clinical team, inpatients services, community mental health team, housing sector as well as a wide variety of local 3rd Sector organisations.
The post holder will receive group supervision and line management supervision from the band 5 occupational therapist and profession specific supervision from the clinical lead. West London NHS Trust’s also has a commitment to enable staff to access tailored personal development, including executive and career coaching.
