The Gastroenterological wards at Barts Health NHS Trust are part of Emergency Care and acute Medical services and provide specialist as well as general medicine care to the wide catchment area of East London. The gastroenterological wards are based at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, Newham University Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital.

An opportunity has arisen for a band 5 staff nurse post at the Whipps Cross University Hospital site.

Conifer Ward is a 21 bedded male gastroenterology ward caring for patients admitted via the emergency department or direct admission from The Sawyerr Endoscopy Unit, and have excellent links with the medical teams and Clinical Nurse Specialist teams.

I am looking to appoint 1 x 2 band 5 staff nurses who are motivated and willing to learn/mentor juniors staff, who can also be part of a very unique and enthusiastic team. The individual will have passion and commitment in order to provide excellent care for our patients and their families. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a key nursing role with prospects to development
