Mount Vernon Hospital is part of the Hillingdon Hospital trust and situated in rural Northwood on the outskirts of London and Hertfordshire. It is within easy access of the M25 and close to vital tube and bus links. The Metropolitan tube line is only a short bus ride or walk from the Hospital site. Accommodation is also available on site.
Mount Vernon Hospital is the elective and non-emergency service site of The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and is situated in Northwood, Middlesex. It benefits from a modern Treatment Centre, providing inpatient and outpatient services to a large population from Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hertfordshire.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit into our senior nursing team. We are looking for a highly experienced dynamic Senior Nurse to join the current Clinical Site Practitioner Team. The post holder will assist with the clinical management of the inpatient services and provide support to the Emergency Nurse Practitioners in the busy Minor Injuries Unit. A core element of the post includes being a member of the 24 hour site emergency response team.
The successful candidates will support and deputise for the Mount Vernon Senior nurse and will be an experienced practitioner with strong leadership qualities. Confident in working autonomously, the post holder must be flexible and able to problem solve and manage incidents. Experience of working in A&E would be helpful.
The Clinical Site Practitioner will maintain effective working relationships with all clinical and non-clinical teams for the Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development of Professional and Clinical standards and monitoring them in practice.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
