Our vision for Health Visiting and School Nursing is one which is truly centred on what our children and families need. We are like many other NHS organisations are committed to reducing health inequalities, but we have a unique approach to making real life improvements for the families under our care.

Here at NELFT Health Visitors and School Nurses are leading the way in transforming services for children and families. We currently have teams of dedicated and talented Specialist Community Public Health Practitioners who are out in communities pioneering a new, holistic, and inclusive approach to 0-19 Children’s Universal and Early Intervention services.

As a Super Training Hub, we strive for excellence in learning and innovation in practice and delivery of safe, quality, and compassionate care. We have strong partnerships with London Education Institutes which enable us to celebrate Health Visiting and School Nursing practice.

To ensure all our student SCPHN practitioners receive the best possible learning environment NELFT have a robust model of learning practice with dedicated Practice assessors and practice supervisors.
