Job overview
An opportunity is available to join the Waltham forest Community Recovery Services. We are a dynamic, multi-disciplinary service, providing a range of specialist interventions within an integrated person-centred approach to adults who are residents of the Borough of Waltham Forest. We work with those who have a diagnosis of a mental health condition often who have complex presentations including substances and physical health concerns.
Main duties of the job
It is important to us that the successful candidate is an experienced professional, possessing a commitment to working with adults, their carers and other members of their social network. They will be committed to developing and promoting evidence-based best practice and be confident with working within a mental health setting.
We are looking for a qualified professional, you will possess an understanding of how multidisciplinary teams need to function.
The post is full time, offering excellent opportunities to develop special professional interests; share expertise and work closely with colleagues. Training, good support and partnership working is offered. Close relationships also exist with multi-agency partners.
The teams operational working hours is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm although some flexibility may be needed, a car driver would be desirable but not essential for the role.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction.

High Cost Area Supplement - London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £3,898 and a maximum payment of £4,967).
