Support Time and Recovery Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 support worker to support   the Home-Based Treatment Team (HBT) in Wigan.

The post holder will be integral in delivering psychosocial interventions and supported activities in the community to service users as part of their time at HBT, as well as liaising with their carers/families to provide support as part of their stay.

The HBT are committed to supporting and developing support workers and aim to offer additional training and development opportunities to staff within the team.

The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team within HBT, feeding back progress and any concerns as part of the daily MDT meetings. The post holder will be expected to support Wigan HBT in home visits, providing this client group with psychosocial interventions and education alike. At times they will be expected to support service users who may have been brought to the place of safety suite under the Mental Health Act and support them through the process. 

The post holder will be required to work 37.5 hours a week including day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
