Band 6 Endoscopy Decontamination Manager.

Endoscopy is a rapidly developing service with advances in diagnostic and therapeutic therapies constantly evolving. The Endoscopy department within Royal Liverpool University Hospital is a fast paced and dynamic environment. We require an enthusiastic and dedicated decontamination manager to join our highly skilled team, we are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care with high standards in patient safety and quality.

We are looking for an individual with a drive to enhance and proactively build on their personal and professional development. Management experience within endoscopy decontamination is essential.

For this role it is crucial you have experience and understanding of the processes involved in the decontamination and reprocessing of medical devices. The applicant must be educated to diploma level and appropriate experience in this highly skilled area.

Royal Liverpool Hospital Endoscopy Unit

The Royal Liverpool University Hospital Endoscopy Unit is recognized nationally as a center of excellence. The unit consists of 7 procedure rooms and carries out approximately 25,000 diagnostic and complex therapeutic procedures per year, for both inpatients and outpatients. The unit also provides recovery facilities for sedated and general anesthetic patients.

The Endoscopy Unit hosts the national Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
