We are looking for Bank Nurses who specialise in NHS Endoscopy to join the new Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Collaborative Bank.

Main duties of the job
The Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Collaborative Bank are looking for bank nurses with current NMC registration who specialise and have experience of NHS Endoscopy to work across a variety of endoscopy units across Merseyside and Cheshire on a bank basis.
You will need to be adaptable in your approach to work, enthusiastic and a self-motivated individual with up to date endoscopy skills who is able to integrate quickly and work as part of the team. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential criteria
- Registered General Nurse with current NMC Registration
- Nursing Diploma, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of clinical skills required to undertake the role
- Knowledge of current professional & clinical issues
- Knowledge of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults procedures
- Substantial years post registration experience
- Substantial years Acute Nursing experience
- Experience and evidence of quality improvement in patient care
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management, record management and organisational skills
- Leadership skills
- Good IT skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Flexible approach to working pattern
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of post registration study/development
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Recognised leadership qualification/training
- Facilitated staff professional development
