An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff nurse on Ward 2C. The new post holder will join our already existing, dedicated and friendly team of staff on Ward 2C at Whiston Hospital. 

Ward 2C is a 30 bedded medical ward specialising in Respiratory medicine. In addition, the ward has a 3 bedded Non Invasive Ventilation Unit. Ward 2C is an extremely busy ward with a high turnover of patients. The Ward receives patients from, clinics, Accident and Emergency as well as the Medical Assessment Unit. 

The post holder is expected to rotate to both days and nights, is to be flexible in their approach to caring for a group of patients. 

The post holder will be expected to deliver care of the highest standard and work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.

This post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS (with barred list for vulnerable adult’s disclosure).
