An exciting development opportunity has arisen for two Trainee Urology Nurse Practitioners to join our team at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
We are looking for enthusiastic healthcare professionals, with substantial experience in Urology or Outpatients’ Nursing to join our dedicated Urology Nursing and Medical Team. The successful candidate is expected to be highly motivated, dedicated with a passion for excellence in patient care, along with excellent communication organisational skills.
The Urology Department provides a dynamic service comprised of a Diagnostic & Treatment Centre based in St. Helens Hospital, a 32 bed ward (4A) in Whiston hospital and a lithotripsy service also based in Whiston Hospital. We are a busy department providing a variety of Rapid Access Clinics, many of which are nurse led. We also provide Urology Outpatients services Monday to Friday, across 3 sites – Whiston Hospital, St Helens Hospital and Newton Community Hospital.
Urology is a fast growing specialty that focuses on 5 star patient care, experience and service delivery. This vacancy offers you the opportunity for you to become part of our vibrant team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for development, and will receive a full comprehensive competency based learning package, along with support and mentoring from our team of highly skilled, and well established Nurse Practitioners, Doctors and Consultants.
An Enhanced DBS Certificate is required for this post, with the checking of Both Children's and Adults Barred Lists.
