We are looking for Bank Nurses who specialise in NHS Endoscopy to join the new Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Collaborative Bank.

Main duties of the job
The Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Collaborative Bank are looking for bank nurses with current NMC registration who specialise and have experience of NHS Endoscopy to work across a variety of endoscopy units across Merseyside and Cheshire on a bank basis.
You will need to be adaptable in your approach to work, enthusiastic and a self-motivated individual with up to date endoscopy skills who is able to integrate quickly and work as part of the team. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse
- Independent Non-medical prescriber
- Clinical Examination Qualification
- Evidence of professional service development
- Completion of approved clinical Endoscopist course upper & lower
- JAG Upper Endoscopy Competent
- JAG Lower Endoscopy Competent
- Evidence of independent reporting & pathology follow up
- Understands and demonstrates the Trust Values of quality, teamwork, care and compassion, dignity and respect and openness, honesty and responsibility through the application of appropriate behaviours and attitudes
Desirable criteria
- Higher Degree or evidence of study at higher level e.g. HEE clinical Endoscopist modules
- Higher Degree (Advanced practice or related)
- Experience of Staff Leadership & Management
- Good working knowledge of GIN, JAG and GRS
- Bowel screening colonoscopy
- Therapeutic upper & lower GI procedures e.g. IBD dye spray surveillance, complex polypectomy, oesophageal dilatation, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
