Job overview
The post is that of a Generic Staff Nurse and the post holder will be expected to undertake duties in a Ward/Department in either Acute Medical/Surgical Wards, and in Community Hospitals. The post holder will carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed, and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB requirements, as well as NMC Standards and Codes of Conduct.

We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking and committed nurses to join our dedicated team. The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high quality person centred care. We have fantastic opportunities for you to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in an environment which is conducive to learning.
Our ward specialise in Gynaecology and General Surgery but also caters for Trauma and Orthopaedic patients.
Ward 11 is a multi- faceted, dynamic environment with a high patient flow, providing an exciting environment for your development and lifelong learning. In house training is provided including our Surgical Study Day. All appointments to the Planned Care Directorate are rotational between the areas.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
