We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Nurse for the Older Adult locality of Rhondda and Taff Ely. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing care for older adult services across inpatient and community settings as well as within primary and secondary care.
Applicants must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a Masters degree or equivalent evidence of post registration CPD
Applicants will need to demonstarate evidence of management at least at band 7 as well as demonstrate the ability to work on a multi professional and multi agency basis.
Applicants will need to demonstrate effective skills in chairing meetings, presentation skills and presenting reports as well as a clear vision for best practice and positive management of change. Other key skills are a proven ability of practice development and innovation and an understanding of resource management implications.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
