Are you looking for a nursing position based in a community team within some of Yorkshire's most stunning surroundings? Then look no further! We would love to hear from any adult staff nurses, newly qualified nurses, student and return to practice nurses who have an interest in delivering high quality care in a variety of community settings. 

On a daily basis we collaborate with a range of professionals to ensure we deliver excellence in care and are proud to be part of the Harrogate and Rural Alliance.

Our clientele are those with complex needs and our service runs every day of year to ensure we are providing the best possible care. With this in mind we are able to offer a range shift patterns working flexibly between the hours of 7am - 8pm. 

Reported as ‘outstanding’ in our last CQC inspection we are proud to be able to offer high quality and innovative care to the people of Harrogate and Rural area, in the comfort of their own homes.  This is a role where no two days are the same and we have supportive management teams who truly value staff wellbeing and development.

Main duties of the job

  • To undertake the provision of high standards of nursing care in relation to the Integrated Care Team
  • To plan, implement and evaluate episodes of care.
  • To plan and organise workload and delegate to other staff when necessary.
  • To undertake nursing assessment, diagnosis and treatment appropriately.
  • To undertake generic assessments on behalf of the team

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Diploma/Degree in Nursing or related field

Experience

  • Community nursing experience

  • Displays an understanding of HDFT's values
  • Since this job is community based ability to drive and access to transport in order to meet service needs is essential
