An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 to join our team within the Continence Advisory Service. We are a small team of Specialist Nurses with Admin and Clerical support based in York at Clifton Health Centre. We are part of the Out of Hospital Care Directorate and therefore offer clinic, appointments and home visits are required across a wide geographical area. We also reach into inpatients areas within the locality. The successful applicant will be given specialist training and support from our enthusiastic and dedicated team of Specialist Nurses so that they can develop researched based assessments, treatment plans and management of those presenting with bladder and/ or bowel dysfunction. The post will also provide opportunities to be involved in training Acute, Community staff and the wider multi disciplinary team.
We wish to offer this post to the candidate as a band 5 in the first instance. You will be moved to band 6 upon successful completion of the training competences which we envisage will take you up to 6 months; but it may take less time dependant on your previous experience and skills. This can be discussed further at Interview.
The salary range for Band 5 is £23,023 - £29,608 pro rata and for Band 6 it is £28,050 - £36,644 pro rata.
