Staff Nurse

Band 5

Ward F22 is a gastro- nutrition unit within the Surgical Division at Nottingham University Hospitals.

The ward cares for both gastroenterology and surgical patients with a specific focus on patients requiring parentral/enteral nutrition. We are striving towards becoming a recognised Intestinal failure unit and will be working towards developing an outreach team and Fistuloclysis Distal Feeding.

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated registered nurses with a keen interest in patients nutrition. We have an established ward team and we are looking for staff who want to join us. We have a caring and supportive team of nurses dedicated to the continuing delivery of safe and excellent care. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.

Individual personal development is actively supported with a Supernummary induction period and preceptorship. A local and corporate induction programme is provided with an ongoing training and development programme which will be linked to your annual appraisal. There are also numerous opportunities for nurses with a keen interest in the development of link nurse roles.

Full and part time hours are available.
