Paediatric Stoma and Continence Nurse Specialist.

Band 7

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic registered children's nurse to lead the Nottingham Children's Hospital Stoma, Gastrostomy and ACE nursing team. The post-holder will also be responsible for the management of children with complex constipation.

You will work with neonates, children, young people and their families, who require gastrostomy and stoma surgery. With the ability to practice autonomously you will lead the specialist nursing team, manage a nurse-led constipation service and liaise cliosely with the surgical teams.

You will be a clinical and professional role model with a passion for the delivery of high quality clinical care and the support and development of others. You will be an effective team player but also able to plan and organise your own workload, possess excellent communication skills, and an ability to teach practical skills to families and ward nurses. You will be working as part of a dynamic and forward thinking multi-professional team, offering key opportunities to develop your career as an advanced practioner.
