An exciting opportunity has arisen within Thoracic Surgery at Nottingham University Hospital trust for a 1st level registered nurse who is enthusiastic, motivated and caring to develop their professional knowledge and ability.

Barclay is an 18 bedded Thoracic Surgery Unit and 4 bedded level 2 progressive care unit situated at Nottingham City Hospital.
We are a forward thinking unit with a caring and supportive multidisciplinary team and we pride ourselves on team work, the delivery of high standards of care and patient safety.

We have a caring and supportive team of nurses dedicated to the delivery of effective patient care. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.

Personal and professional development is actively supported. There are numerous opportunities for nurses with a keen interest in the development of link nurse roles and we offer opportunities for professional development.

You should be educated to 1st level RGN, have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to prioritise workload and work well as a member of the team.
