Main duties of the job
We are currently recruiting to a permanent post in West Mendip and would like to hear from enthusiastic, hardworking Registered Nurses to become a part of our friendly District Nursing team.
Our District Nursing area covers Glastonbury, Street, Wells and surrounding areas. We are in partnership with The primary care network and also work closely with Adult Social care and the integrated services of Older persons mental health and Rehab.
You must be a Registered General Nurse and community experience is desirable but not essential as full support will be given.
Responsibilities include: End of life care, Venepuncture, medication administration, wound care, leg ulcer management, catheter care, bowel management, continence assessments, diabetes management
Shift patterns include: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 2pm-10pm

- Level one registration with appropriate registration with the NMC as per post requirements

Experience

- Experience of working in multi-agency services

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
