Are you looking for a new challenge?
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse to join the vascular/leg ulcer nursing team. The role will involve working as a member of the nursing team in 7 community leg ulcer clinics throughout the county. It will involve implementation of local and national clinical pathways of care and improvements to the service.
The hours are 37.5 per week and is a permanent post.
Full driving licence with business cover is essential to travel to all clinics.
Main duties of the job
You will work as an integral member of the Leg Ulcer Team, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the Leg Ulcer Service on a day to day basis.
You will be expected to undertake comprehensive, holistic assessment of patients with leg ulceration and subsequently plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of evidence based care.
You will be expected to provide evidence based professional advice on all aspects of leg ulcer management to patients and their carers.

- Registered General Nurse
Desirable criteria
- Teaching /Assessor qualification
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Knowledge in the management of leg ulceration
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience in managing complex wounds/leg ulcers
Desirable criteria
- Experience of clinical audit/research
- Experience of working in multi-agency services.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and to have undertaken post registration training.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
