Job overview
Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is thrilled to welcome applications for Bank Senior Staff Nurses to join our team. As a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised care for extremely sick and preterm infants in an intensive care environment.

Main duties of the job
Applicants should be positively driven to promote outstanding family centred care and willing to strive for the highest clinical standards by working together within a multi disciplinary leadership team, you must be able to provide clinical expertise in the Unit whilst supporting junior team members.
If you are a registered nurse at Band 5 with post QIS experience in an acute neonatal setting, please get in touch - learning opportunities are provided to support the right candidate within the role..
You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise and manage a patient caseload and enjoy the challenge of such an exciting opportunity.

Your main responsibilities are the care of sick and preterm infants, support for their families, and including the co-ordination and running of the neonatal Unit.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Training
Essential criteria
- NMC Registered Nurse part 1, 7, or 10 of the NMC register
- Specialist Neonatal Intensive Care Qualification - QIS
- Post registration experience in neonates
- Evidence of a good standard of Literacy / English language skills
- Able to lead the Unit team and motivate others
Desirable criteria
- Able to undertake higher level specialist clinical skills

- Current permit to work in the UK
