Job overview

The Rotherham CAMHS Service have gone through a period of service redesign and therefore have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join our Getting Help Pathway Team. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team completing assessments and providing evidence based interventions, advice and support to professionals, parents and young people.

 

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a CAMHS Practitioner who is passionate about delivering high quality and effective services to children, young people and their families. You will be child and young person centered in your approach and have excellent clinical skills, experience of multi-agency working and be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and autonomously. You will have experience of working within a children and young people safeguarding framework.

As a service we are committed to the professional development of the workforce, we have a well- established preceptorship programme and clinical, safeguarding and managerial supervision alongside a talent management programme.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • A professional Nursing qualification or Occupational Therapist qualification or Social Work with current registration
Desirable criteria
  • Specialist Qualification in CBT, FT or other appropriate therapy
  • Degree or equivalent
  • A qualification, or have undertaken a program of formal training in Clinical Supervision
