Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Diabetic Nurse within East Staffordshire. The role will compliment that of the Operational Manager. Operational Leads and Long Term Conditions Specialist Nurses. The focus will be on developing a new team that will provide diabetes education and management of complex patients with a MDT approach.. You will work alongside the Operational Manager to embed changes in the team and supporting staff through this.
The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday 9-5 excluding bank holidays.
We are looking for an experienced nurse within the field of Diabetes and community experience, who has the ability and clinical knowledge to drive the quality element in the team. You will hold a small caseload of complex patients and support other professionals within the portfolio with clinical advice/education. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with a variety of stakeholders within different settings.
