Job overview

Working within the SABP Centralised DBT Service, we are a small, friendly service based in Chertsey, Surrey, providing DBT services across Surrey. 

providing fully adherent DBT services ( individual sessions, skills group teaching, telephone coaching and attending weekly Consultation meetings)  . The team also offers DBT-informed work - socialization for those with barriers to joining the full DBT programme.  

You are expected to work on our core days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Main duties of the job

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the psychological needs of people using our services
• To supervise and teach unqualified staff including students
• Promoting a psychological perspective both within teams and sharing with other colleagues
• To support Service managers/ Clinical leads in the development and delivery of effective DBT  services to include individual DBT sessions and Skills group teaching. 
• The postholder will be expected to work flexibly within the serv

  • previous DBT experience
  • good written communication skills

  • addition trauma work training such as EMDR.
