Band 2 - Healthcare Support Worker - Full Time - Permanent (Multiple Vacancies)

We are recruiting Healthcare Support Workers for our new hospital!

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) is building a new Mental Health Inpatient Service in Chertsey, Surrey. Silverwood will contain four adult inpatient wards and is due to open in Autumn this year. Our ambition is to transform inpatient mental healthcare for our local population.

The new unit will provide 64 beds all with single ensuite bedrooms, two lounges and a dedicated garden for each ward, as well as a woodland area for supervised walks.

We are excited to be recruiting Healthcare Support Workers for our new hospital to help us grow our established and experienced team. 

Main duties of the job

In this vital role, you will assist in all areas of care in accordance with agreed care plans and procedures to meet people who uses our services individual needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working hands-on in a supportive environment.

We will help you develop in your role, through a tailored career pathway which will enable you to progress within the Trust. There are many career development programmes such as the nursing associate apprenticeship training available to our colleagues
