Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) is building a new Mental Health Inpatient Service in Chertsey, Surrey.
Silverwood will contain four adult inpatient wards and is due to open in Autumn 2024. Our ambition is to transform inpatient mental healthcare for our local population.
The new unit will provide 64 beds all with single ensuite bedrooms, two lounges and a dedicated garden for each ward, as well as a woodland area for supervised walks.
For our colleagues working here, there will be access to kitchenettes, a lounge, and a dedicated garden. There will also be an education suite with state-of-the-art digital equipment.
This role is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to be part of a new service providing excellent care to our patients within a state-of-the-art facility. You will work with experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are developing new ways of working and want you to be part of the team who will provide effective assessment, treatment, and high-quality care to our patients.

Main duties of the job
- Support the MDT with the development of the clinical pathway of person-centred quality care plans which evidence assessment, formulation, and treatment plans designed to support recovery.
- Ensure that the service meets the requirements of the CQC.
- Improve and facilitate engagement of patients with specialist services to include people with ASD, and substance misuse.
- Improve the quality of care provided to patients by increasing the knowledge and skills of staff
