Job overview

We are looking to attract candidates with great leadership qualities, providing professional leadership and development to their team. Acting as an effective role model and demonstrating personal commitment to continuous support of the Ward Sister in improvements, taking responsibility for the leadership and supervision of the team.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Paediatric department. We are looking for a Deputy Ward Sister/Charge nurse to join our friendly, supportive and motivated team of Paediatric Nurses.

We provide acute care of medical paediatric patients up to the age of 16 years.  The ward has 16 beds and a 4 bedded high dependency unit, and works alongside a 24 hour paediatric assessment unit and 20 bedded surgical ward.

Our team is passionate about providing outstanding paediatric care.  The foundation of developing a close team are rooted in the health boards values " working together , always improving, caring for each other"
