An exciting opportunity has become available for a specialist nurse within the neurodevelopmental pathway in Northumberland CYPS.
The post holder must be a non-medical prescriber and have specialist knowledge of ADHD medication, symptomology and behavioural strategies.
The post holder will be predominantly based in the Hexham area of Northumberland.

The post holder will assess and prescribe adhd treatment for children and young people. They be responsible for the titration and monitoring of any side effects and efficacy.
They will also provide clinical leadership to the wider team such as ad hoc and clinical supervision and support.

Education and Qualifications

- First Level Registered Nurse RNMH, RMN, RNLD or equivalent first level qualification e.g. Social Worker, OT, Clinical Psychologist, other.
- Non medical prescribing qualification
- Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in evidence based psychological therapies relevant to Pathway.
Knowledge and Experience

- Experience working with children with neurodiversity
- Experience delivering clinical supervision
