Staff Nurse Canadian Wing Band 5
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Canadian Wing for Band 5 nurses wishing to develop their career in plastics and maxillofacial surgery. Your role will primarily be focused on delivering high quality care to a range of inpatients on a busy 43 bedded surgical ward. The successful post holders will also be able to work within our enhanced recovery area which will give an amazing opportunity to develop higher level skills
You will be working closely with your Band 6 colleagues to ensure you receive support and development , excellent communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be well motivated and enthusiastic to learn.
You will be given all necessary training required and will attend all relevant mandatory study days. We are committed to providing education opportunities to all our staff and place a strong emphasis on the education and development of the Ward team.

QVH are committed to both investing in, and employing newly qualified nurses, we can offer you the opportunity to work in a variety of specialist areas in an organisation that has patient care at its heart. Here at QVH, there are numerous opportunities to develop your career.
While awaiting your NMC registration, you will be paid at band 4 level and we will also pay your 1st years NMC registration. After 6 months in post upon successful completion of the preceptorship programme, you can rise to the 2nd increment on the band 5 pay scale.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
